Explore answers about services, appointments, deposits, fittings and what to expect when working with a Book the Stylist stylist.
Booking
Book the Stylist by L4L connects customers with stylists for personalized virtual consultations and in-person styling and fitting experiences.
Each stylist has an individual profile where you can learn about their approach, select a service and choose an available appointment time.
Choose a stylist, select the service you want, review the available appointment times and complete the scheduling information.
Paid services may require a deposit before the appointment is considered fully secured.
A complimentary virtual consultation is confirmed once the required scheduling steps are completed.
For paid services, the booking is considered secured after the required booking information and applicable deposit have been completed.
Services
Current services include a 30-minute virtual consultation, a 2-hour fitting for one look, a 4-hour fitting for up to three looks, and a 1-hour add-on look for qualifying existing bookings.
Yes. The 30-minute virtual consultation is complimentary.
It is designed to help the stylist understand your occasion, preferences, needs and desired styling direction before you decide whether to book a paid fitting.
The 1-hour add-on provides additional styling time for one additional look.
It is intended for customers who already have an eligible fitting appointment and should not normally be booked as a standalone initial fitting.
Payments
The 30-minute virtual consultation is complimentary.
The 2-hour fitting for one look is $500, the 4-hour fitting for up to three looks is $750, and the 1-hour add-on look is $250.
The current deposit structure is $250 for the 2-hour fitting, $375 for the 4-hour fitting, and $125 for the 1-hour add-on.
The complimentary virtual consultation does not require a deposit.
The payment window helps prevent an unpaid booking from holding an appointment time that another customer may want.
When a 10-minute window is displayed, complete the required deposit during that period to secure the appointment.
Your Appointment
You may be asked for measurements, sizing, preferred silhouettes, occasion details, style preferences and other information that helps your stylist prepare.
Providing accurate information gives your stylist a stronger starting point for the appointment.
Specific inventory, sizes, designers, colors and accessories may change.
Your stylist can recommend alternatives when a preferred item is not available, but discussing an item does not by itself reserve it.
Unexpected schedule changes can occasionally happen.
If your selected stylist becomes unavailable, Book the Stylist will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative appointment time, available stylist or another appropriate solution.
Policies
If your plans change, contact Book the Stylist as soon as possible.
Cancellation, deposit and rescheduling conditions applicable to your appointment will be provided through the booking process, confirmation information or Styling Policy.
Your appointment may still need to end at its original scheduled time.
Significant lateness may result in a shortened appointment or a need to reschedule if the service cannot reasonably be completed.
The complete customer Styling Policy is available on the Book the Stylist website at /styling-policy.
